Boston Martial Arts Center - Jutaijutsu Boot Camp

Learn Jutaijutsu (grappling for martial arts and personal protection) foundations through advanced training & fighting methods from the Boston Martial Arts Center Jutaijutsu tools for basic, intermediate, and  advanced training.

We will start out with the basics of jutaijutsu. In this section, we will cover the basic training methods and tools that you will need to gain a high level of skill in old school grappling for personal protection. We will thoroughly cover the basics and proceed to a very high level. This will be a full-day of training on the tools for jutaijutsu.

Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm

Jutaijutsu tools for basic, intermediate, and advanced training

We will start out with the basics of jutaijutsu.  In this section, we will cover the basic training methods and tools that you will need to gain a high level of skill in old school grappling for personal protection.  We will thoroughly cover the basics and proceed to a very high level. This will be a full-day of training on the tools for jutaijutsu.

Saturday

12:00pm - 9:00pm

Strategy and methods

We will spend all day Saturday into Saturday night working on the strategies and skills needed to learn about how and when to use jutaijutsu, including how to flow, stop, and change the attacker's energy in mid conflict. We will also have a special section on body skill and mistakes that can happen within the contexts of jutaijutsu and weapons. This will be a very detailed section of the training, so bring your notebook.

Sunday 9:00am - 3:30pm

Application Day

We will spend all day looking at how we can apply the jutaijutsu in a case-by-case format. We will look at armed and unarmed jutaijutsu. We will spend time learning how some of the old schools would protect themselves against weapons and how that would work in today's world. We will be looking at fight scenarios that will bring life to your jutaijutsu.
